Professional Background |
I have worked for over 30 years as a social worker and senior leader in children’s services with a focus on safeguarding children and achieving permanence for children in care via adoption and kinship arrangements. |

Why I Became a Governor |
Having parented two children and supported them through the education system I wanted to make a contribution to a school community for the benefit of other children. I am passionate about ensuring all young people have access to high quality education services. |

What I Hope to Contribute |
My background enables me to understand the role that schools play in the lives of children educationally, pastorally and in some cases safeguarding them from harm. I hope that I will be able to make a contribution in these areas. |
| Interests & Community Links | |
I am involved in a range of community activities. I am a trustee of a children’s charity, volunteer at North Trafford Foodbank and teach English to Asylum Seekers. I am hoping to be elected as a Trafford Councillor in May 2026. |
